2017 State SHRM Conference

“Bridging the Gap – Strategic HR for Today and Tomorrow”

The South Dakota Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) State Council, along with the Central South Dakota SHRM chapter, is delighted to host this year’s State SHRM Conference in Pierre, South Dakota. The conference will be held at the Pierre Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center. Our team has been hard at work finding speakers to ‘Bridge the Gap’ as they share insight and knowledge into the challenges we face every day as HR professionals.

This conference is designed to engage and inspire anyone who is involved in any aspect of human resources, whether you are new or a seasoned HR professional. We are excited to bring valued presenters to challenge you to develop professionally, to ensure your employer is compliant in HR practices, to understand the emotions of employment investigations and allegations, and to provide guidance on what you can do to encourage and sustain a growing workforce in South Dakota. We are also excited to announce several attorneys agreed to attend a social hour to visit with you personally about your legal HR questions.
