Presentation Topic:
Tim and Liesl will be reviewing the various LSS programs that are offered in the Northeast region, in addition to statewide in South Dakota. They will be share the various programs in the Aberdeen area and their basic functions. They will also speak to the backgrounds of the programs and how they are able to assist the clients in the area. Tim will share information about the Center for New Americans which includes the Interpreter program. Tim will also provide some clarification on the differences between immigrants and Refugees and will also share the various ways that the community can assist New Americans and what the role of LSS is regarding new arrivals to SD.
